How to update your receipt margins in Lightspeed Retail

You have 2 ways to update your receipt margins

1.Change the receipt template via support 

In LS retail, on the bottom left of your screen, click on the “help” button

  • Copy/paste the “Acct ID : xxxxxx”
  • Then click on “leave us a message” and start chatting with the agent
  • You just need to leave that message : “Hi, please update the receipt template. We are using Google Chrome as a browser and add the account ID

 Then, when you do a sale and you land on the print review, you need to change the margin

  • Click on “more settings”
  • Clink on “Margin” and select “minimum”

2.Custom receipt margin

The second option is to customize the margin directly in the printing review

when you do a sale and you land on the print review, you need to update the margin

  1. Click on “more settings”
  2. Clink on “Margin” and select “custom”
  3. Update the margin as it is shown on the image below. 
  4. Print the receipt to make sure the margins fit correctly
