Creating a new vendor in Lightspeed Retail:

  1. From the Main Menu, click Inventory > Vendors
  2. Create a New Vendor by clicking the plus sign on the top right hand corner
  3. Enter the Vendor name, Account number, and any additional information pertaining to the Sales Representative
  4. Save changes

Note

  • You can select vendors when you initially set up Lightspeed and are prompted to select your Vendor Catalog
  • Associated vendors will be added when you select your specific Industry.
